Hobart City Mission
Hobart City Mission (HCM) has been serving the people of Southern Tasmania for 170 years, made possible by generous donations and enthusiastic volunteers.
Through innovative programs and services, HCM enables people to participate in community life with a sense of dignity, purpose and self-reliance. They support the homeless and disadvantaged by providing assistance, guidance and safe spaces to recover, regroup and achieve positive outcomes.
Dom & the Team at UNICA have been incredibly supportive of people in our community facing hardship and homelessness.

“In the last 5 years their kindness and generosity has helped so many people in the community through Hobart City Mission’s programs including young mums (Small Steps), people experiencing homelessness (Safe Space), people struggling to make ends meet (Emergency Relief) and families who are having a tough time at Christmas (Christmas Assistance Program).
On top of all of this, UNICA have been Partners of Hobart City Mission’s Sleep Rough event since the very beginning – they took a chance on our new event and played a crucial role in its success (so far Sleep Rough has raised over $360,000 to fight homelessness in our community!). We’re eternally grateful for UNICA’s continued support and we LOVE working with them!”
