As a Paraplanner at UNICA, Nimi works closely with the advisers to support the delivery of comprehensive financial advice. She analyses client circumstances, researches and models financial strategies, and prepares advice documentation across investments, superannuation, insurance, retirement planning and Centrelink - drawing on two and a half years in the profession.

Using a range of financial planning software and modelling tools, she tests how well a strategy holds up, prepares accurate client projections, and makes sure every advice document meets regulatory and compliance requirements.

Seeing clients feel confident about their financial future and satisfied with the outcomes achieved is the most fulfilling part of what I do.

The technical foundations of financial planning stay consistent, but no two clients are the same - and tailoring each strategy to the individual is what keeps the work engaging and rewarding for her.

Outside the office, Nimi is rarely far from a good book, and seldom misses the chance to read while travelling or commuting. She loves discovering new stories and ideas, and values the way reading lets her relax, learn and unwind.
